FIAGES and EFIAGES

Department of General surgery KGMCH along with IAGES organized 3 days Laparoscopic and Endoscopic course (FIAGES and EFIAGES)for surgeons and PGs in our college three halls . 40 faculties from different parts of the country delivered lectures and demonstrated 50 live endoscopy , 6 therapeutic endoscopy and 7 live lap surgeries from our theater . 250 surgeons attended and benefited. External faculties were extremely happy with the facilities in our campus . Our Honorable Minister Manothangaraj inaugurated the conference . The President of IAGES Dr.Eswaramoorthy and all the office bearers were extremely helpful in organising this mega event .I thank our college administration , Department of Anaesthesia , Surgical Gastroenterology, Medical Gastroenterology and all our surgery department faculties and PGs for their extraordinary effort to make this a memorable and fruitful event.Special thanks to Dr.Sivakumar VP IAGES and organizing secretary for his valuable initiatives .
